
Combat Brothers is a small company owned and operated by Chuck Butler an American, and Ayad Mohammed Majeed an Iraqi refugee Chuck, a law enforcement officer and native of Chatsworth, Georgia accepted a contract to work for a private security company to train Iraqi Police. Chuck was assigned to Basrah, in southern Iraq the hometown of Ayad. Ayad left his job as a mechanical engineer to serve his country and assist the coalition forces as a language assistant.
Ayad, will deliver touching stories of life under Saddam Hussein. Ayad saw his friends go to jail for such trivial things as listening to forbidden broadcasts on the radio. When Saddam was overthrown in 2003, there was hope of freedom for the first time in my life. “I was proud of America and will work to support the Coalition forces”.
Chuck experienced first hand what it was like to live in a country without freedom. From diverse backgrounds the two men formed a combat relationship they describe as “A friend closer than Brothers” Their experience and information are most valuable in understanding such issues facing the world today as Cultural Diversity, Terrorism in Iraq, Democracy in Iraq, Combat Trauma, Combat Stress, and the inspiring story of trust and friendship.
